The challenge
The firm's core systems ran on ageing hardware under a lease that was ending, with regulatory requirements that client data stay inside the UAE.
Our approach

Inventoried every workload and sorted it into rehost, rebuild or retire, then agreed the list with the compliance team before touching anything.

Rebuilt the environment in Terraform in the me-central-1 region and ran both estates side by side for eight weeks.
- 03
Cut over service by service on weekends with a tested rollback for each one.
The result
Annual infrastructure spend fell 38% and the estate is now reproducible from code. The migration completed with no unplanned downtime and passed the regulator's residency review first time.
